Forgot to mention that my MSDN Magazine article on WF came out a few months back...

I gave a fun talk on integrating Oslo's MGrammar and the Dynamic Language Runtime to build your own high-performance, .NET-targeted DSL.

Unfortunately in my time slot I was up against "ASP.NET MVC and World Domination" or something like that, so it was an intimate gathering for my talk... but what we lacked in sheer numbers we made up for in enthusiasm.  :-)

I'll elaborate further on some of the details in a future blog post... for now, here are the slides and code samples.

http://www.infoq.com/news/2007/07/worthless-code

This parallels my general take on code reuse...

Josh's 1st Axiom of Code Reuse

In order to be reusable, code must first be good.  Since most code is not good, most code is not reusable.  This means you.

Josh's 2nd Axiom of Code Reuse

Most of the time, idea reuse is infinitely more beneficial and productive than code reuse.

Josh's 3rd Axiom of Code Reuse

Most of the time, don't bother... it's not worth the trouble.
