I hope that what comes through from viewing this collection is that the photographer wanted to show off his best, as well as Seattle's best. To me this includes the Girl Holding a Paper Crane statue in Peace Park, neon colors bouncing off rainy streets on a dark winter's evening, and a crane looking towards Mount Rainer as well as the usual shots - the tourist shots. I also included, and used as my header, an image of Seattle and Mount Rainer as the sun set from the Space Needle, Isamu Noguchi's "Black Sun" in Volunteer Park, and of course a photo of the Space Needle and a window at EMP if only because I found that of all of the photos that I have taken in the last several years that these were my best, clearest and most enjoyable. I think I can say that my photographic images are about me in some strange way as much as they are about anything. I took these photos when I wanted to feel something and while they might seem to be nothing but post card like photos of Seattle, they are also some of my best photos. I also hope that everyone else likes them.
